The Village of Coleville and RM of Oakdale No. 320 office is situated at 200 Main Street in Coleville.
Village Council consists of a Mayor and four Aldermen and meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month starting at 7 p.m.
The RM of Oakdale Council consists of a Reeve and 6 Councilors and meetings are held the second Monday of each month starting at 9 a.m.

Coleville Recreation Association was started on March 30, 1960. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the rink.
Recreation is responsible for the operation of our natural ice skating rink and Laing’s Park. The rink is located at 200 First Avenue West and is typically is operational from mid November to mid March, depending on weather. If interested in purchasing a skating pass contact the Village office at 965-2281.
Laing’s Park is three miles north of Coleville and has baseball diamonds and a beer garden area.
Recreation is also a strong supporter of other facilities & organizations in town through its contributions toward the library, community hall, and fitness centre.

Coleville’s library is located within the same building as the R.M. of Oakdale No. 320 and the Village of Coleville at 200 Main Street. Coleville’s first library was provided by the book mobile service in 1963. In 1968 Coleville opened a branch of the Wheatland Regional Library.
Our librarian welcomes you to the library during its hours of operation as follows:
Sunday – 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Monday – 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday – 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Rossville School is located at 100 Queen Street and is named after one of Coleville’s pioneers, Mr. Ross Farris.

The Coleville Community Hall is operated & maintained by the Village of Coleville. The facility was built in 1982 and is equipped with a main hall/dance floor, kitchen, bar and stage. The hall’s capacity is 420 people (seated & dancing) or 472 (assembly only).
Rental rates:
Hall & Kitchen – $400 for 1 day
Additional days – $100 per day
4 hour period* – $200
8 hour period* – $300
*must be finished hall use and key returned no later than 5pm
Bar $100 per day
Cleanup Deposit – $500
Deposit must be paid prior to event and will be returned if hall is cleaned after function according to rental agreement.

The Coleville Legion Hall is located at 100 Second Avenue East. It provides an upper and lower hall along with a kitchen & bar. It offers a chair lift to those who may require assistance using the staircase between floors. For barbecue or outdoor events, the Legion Hall also has available a fenced yard complete with a gazebo. The capacity of the hall is approximately 80 people, and the Legion will cater meals to groups using the hall.

The Scout Hut was originally the home of the R.M. of Oakdale No. 320 office. After the R.M. moved to its present location, it was decided to let nonprofit groups have the use of the old office. The Boy Scouts were one such group that gave the building its new name.

The Coleville Fitness Centre was originally the United Church. The church had its final service in 2004. Later that year the Coleville Fitness Centre began operation with the help of Coleville Recreation & donations from the area.

The Coleville Fire Department is located on Main Street and is operated by local volunteer firemen. For information on becoming a volunteer firefighter, contact the Village office.
