ROAD BANS

Movement is only allowed on Dry/Frozen Track.

Dry track can be described as “a lack of any type of moisture on the roadway.

When roads are dry a vehicle will not leave any type of indentation on the roadway, nor will it leave mud or debris on the road.”

If you are uncertain if the road conditions will be considered dry track, you should contact Roadata Services or the municipality to verify if movement is allowed.

Further restrictions will be implemented should it become evident that roads are being damaged due to use negligence.

This logic should be practiced all year round, not just during road ban season.

NO DRILLING OR COMPLETIONS WILL BE ALLOWED WHEN ROAD BANS ARE IN EFFECT.

TOWING POLICY

A towing policy has been made stating “that all units being towed off of location or on a municipal roadway must obtain a Tow Permit prior to any movement.

The permit is to be issued to the vehicle being towed, and the tow permit fee will be $25.

That in addition to the permit fee, the R.M. will charge a post inspection fee of $250.

If it is determined that the unit requiring the tow does not pose a safety hazard and the tow will create road damage,

the unit may be required to remain put until such time as it is dry enough to proceed without causing road damage.

The same permits and charges are required regardless if the tow is allowed to proceed immediately or has been ordered to wait.”

ATTENTION:

Disposing of oil off of trucks is becoming a cause of concern within the RM.

Anyone caught disposing of oil illegally risks having their primary weight permit revoked.  Such acts have been reported to SK Energy & Resources for investigation.
